This visa stream allows Indian graduates and early career professionals to live and work in Australia for up to 2 years. Applicants must be selected in a ballot to lodge an application.

You need to
- be selected in the MATES ballot to lodge the visa application
- lodge an application online on or before the date specified in your Notification of Selection letter. The cut-off time on the last day to lodge an application is 11:59PM AEDT
- hold a valid Indian passport
- be 18 to 30 years old (inclusive)
- have graduated from an eligible educational institution with an eligible qualification

- travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while your visa is valid
