Background

Our client had been studying in Australia on a Subclass 573 Student Visa for several years. When the visa expired, he was attempting to transfer to a new education provider but was unable to obtain the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) required to lodge a new student visa application before the expiry date. Despite efforts on our part and multiple discussions with the institution, the CoE was not forthcoming in time.
