You need to
- a profession
- a sport
- the arts
- academia and research.
- an Australian citizen
- an Australian permanent-resident
- an eligible New Zealand citizen
- an Australian organisation.
- be invited to lodge this visa application and lodge your visa application within 60 days of invitation. For information on Expression of Interest, see National Innovation visa.
- either be in or outside Australia but not in immigration clearance when you lodge an application and when we grant this visa

- remain in Australia permanently
- work and study in Australia

- sponsor your relatives to come to Australia
